Hi there!
Welcome to Language Unpacked!
My name is Tallulah Holley and I’m a linguist and educator, with a particular love for multilingualism and interdisciplinarity. I studied French and Translation Studies for my degree and have dabbled with a variety of other languages, including Italian, Arabic, Welsh and Hebrew.
I’m based in Wales, where the uptake for international languages aged 14-16 is 10%. A shocking figure that only seems to be getting worse. It is against this backdrop that I created Language Unpacked to enthuse and inspire all young people to see themselves as language learners.
On my blog, you’ll find me writing about multilingualism, translation, linguistics and language policy. I’d love for you to join me.
Over on my website, you can find more information about Language Unpacked, book your little one onto my online clubs and download my learning resources for kids aged 7-14.
